Why kaleidoscope?

the word "kaleidoscope" derives from the Ancient Greek καλ(ός) (beauty, beautiful), είδο(ς) (form, shape) and -σκόπιο (tool for examination), and it literally translates to "observer of beautiful forms." --Wikipedia

I like to consider myself an observer of beautiful forms.  And my interests change as rapidly and drastically as the beautiful image contained within a kaleidoscope. I love the symbolism of how a kaleidoscope can take a seemingly arbitrary patten of objects and transform it into a beautiful symmetric pattern.  This blog is partially devoted to my attempt to find that symmetry in my thoughts and doings.

Happy Readings!
